Birthright’s Annual Strollerthon 2020
We’re late in this year of COVID, but Birthright’s Annual Strollerthon 2020 is a go for Saturday morning, Sept 19!
This is a sponsored 5K walk to aid the crisis pregnancy support work of Birthright Victoria. If you would like to participate through walking, please reach out to us on our contact page or by emailing info@birthrightvictoria.org
How to Donate
Birthright’s Annual Strollerthon is now just over a week away! In this time of COVID measures, we’ve made arrangements with some local churches for drop off of Strollerthon donations (cash or cheque payable to Birthright Victoria). Please clearly mark your donation envelope with ‘Birthright’ to avoid any confusion and include your full name and address if you would like to receive a charitable receipt. See below for collection details at specific churches.
- Our Lady of the Rosary in Langford. You can drop your clearly labeled donation in the collection box or at the parish office.
- Queen of Peace in Esquimalt. You can drop your clearly labeled donation through the mail slot.
- Ordinariate of the Chair of St. Peter meeting at Queen of Peace. You can leave your clearly labeled donation in the basket marked ‘Birthright Strollerthon.’
- St. Joseph the Worker. You can leave your clearly labeled donation at the parish office.
- St. Elizabeth’s in Sidney. You can leave your clearly labeled donation in the basket marked ‘Birthright Strollerthon’ at the back of the church or in the parish mail slot.
- St. Francis Xavier in Cobble Hill. You can leave your clearly labeled donation at the parish office during office hours or in the mailbox outside the parish office.
We have walkers from many church communities in the Victoria area, but not all. We welcome all donations, whether you have a local walker or not. You may also donate to the Birthright Strollerthon through CanadaHelps or by mail to: Birthright Victoria, 513 – 620 View St, Victoria, BC V8W 1J6.
A Challenging Year
This is a challenging year for Birthright and for all charities which rely on generous donors to keep our doors open and the compassionate support we provide to our clients flowing. If you are able, your support this year is more crucial than ever.
