This year’s walk
We’ve had a very successful Birthright Strollerthon 2019, thanks once again to the support of faithful walkers and generous sponsors! This year’s walk took place on the morning of Saturday, July 27. Clear weather. Not too hot. Eager walkers and the presence of families and children. Add a slice of cake and it all made for an exuberant Birthright Victoria Strollerthon 2019!
Our Walkers
Our walkers came from throughout the Victoria area. They also represented parishes throughout southern Vancouver Island. St. Francis Xavier in Cobble Hill. Our Lady of the Rosary in Langford. St. Joseph the Worker in the Burnside Road area. Our Lady Star of the Sea in Colwood. Queen of Peace in Esquimalt. The Ordinariate and Latin communities meeting at Queen of Peace. And the Saanich Peninsula Catholic parish. All coming together in support of Birthright Victoria. A wonderful blessing! We hope to have even more walkers and parishes represented next year.

We’re just tallying the last of the pledges for the Birthright Victoria Strollerthon 2019, and it looks like we have raised over $6,000 to support the mission of Birthright Victoria, providing pregnancy support to women experiencing unplanned pregnancy.
