2020 will go down in our memories as a year like no other. With all of the challenges this year has brought, we’ve had to be creative with our Birthright fund raising. We normally schedule sale dates for our delicious, home-made Fudge at area churches throughout November and early December. This year, with the various limits on gatherings, we’ve re-envisioned our usual fudge sales as Birthright Fudge by Order. You’ll still be able to purchase our delicious home-made Fudges and other sweets, by pre-ordering them now for pick-up in December. Please see below for more information about our Fudges.
Ordering Fudge
A few notes on ordering. Our tasty Fudges are all chocolate. Birthright Fudges make great stocking stuffers as well as holiday gifts. We also have Chocolate Dipped Apricots for those who prefer a tarter taste. Also Caramel Corn and Caramel Corn Light (a lighter version with reduced fat and calories). To keep things simple, we won’t have Fudge Assortment packs available this year. We also have a limited amount of Macadamia nuts and so will have Macadamia Madness Fudge available in limited quantities. Best to order this Fudge ASAP, because when it’s gone, It’s Gone.
We’ll be baking mostly to order this year, so expect a few days between placing your order and it being available for pick-up. Here’s how to order. Email us at: info@birthrightvictoria.org. Tell us varieties and quantity wanted. Let us know your preferred pick-up date. If your order is for local pick-up (see below) you’ll be asked to pre-pay by etransfer or another method.
Fudge Order Pick-Up
Birthright Fudge orders can be collected from Peggy’s home in Langford. By arrangement, you can also pick up fudge from our office downtown. We may also be able to arrange delivery for larger orders.
We’re working on some local pick-up options. At present, pre-paid orders will be available for December pick-up at the following locations.

- Queen of Peace Parish Office (week of Dec 8-11 only)
- St. Elizabeth’s Parish Office in Sidney
- St. Francis Xavier Parish Office in Mill Bay
- St. Joseph the Worker Parish Office
- St. Patrick’s Parish Office (parishioner orders only)
- Fr. Kenyon’s house for the St. John Henry Newman parish
