The 2024 Birthright Fudge season has begun! In my house, Fudge season is defined by the mingled scents of warm chocolate and sweet caramel corn, an assembly line of fudge bowls waiting for mixing, and countless pans of setting chocolate covering counters, refrigerator and freezer shelves. Over nearly 30 years, we’ve heard from loyal fans that they look forward to Birthright Fudge season all year round. Those 5-6 weeks in November/December when people crowd ’round to buy Birthright Fudge, little boys tear through the house looking for their money because, “Mom… It’s Fudge Day!” and fudge-packing parties are all the rage with their older siblings.
Our 2024 Birthright Fudge season features seven varieties of dark and milk chocolate fudge, from the ever popular Black Forest Fudge to our newest, Maple Ribbon, plus chocolate dipped Apricots and home-made Caramel Corn. Some have nuts, and some don’t. All are gluten-free but made in a home kitchen, so trace amounts may be present. Although there’s no getting around the fact that Fudge is by nature rich and sweet, our darker varieties are less so. We are also able to offer dairy-free versions of our Black Forest and Midnight Mint Fudges, by special order.
